L.T Cables 1.1kv (XLPE/PVC Cable)

Rathi Udyog is a foremost stockiest & Supplier of LT Power Cable in Kolkata West Bengal
It consists of aluminum /Copper conductor with PVC Cable  /  XLPE Cable  insulated, laid up inner shealted unarmoured/armored PVC outers heated

LT Power Cable is designed to get installed in different residential, commercial buildings, electrical installations, and communication panel system. The basic material used for the fabrication is low-density polyethylene that is considered as a thermoplastic material. Thus, it comprises a long chain of hydrocarbon molecules that eventually get melted at the temperature ranging from 110°C. Our skilled professionals opt for the excellent grade of basic materials that enhances the service life of wire and is perfect for ideal power supply. In order to ensure flawless performance and defect-free quality, this power cable is checked on stringent quality tests under the strict guidance of our professionals.

Size :

1.5 Sq.mm. to 630 Sq.mm. in 2 to 4 core.
1000 Sq.mm in single core

Conductor :

Annealed Bare Electrolytic Grade Copper / Aluminium Conductor conforming to IS:8130:1984. The shaping of Conductor is applied above 10.0 Sq.mm. in Aluminium & 6.0 Sq.mm. in Copper.

Insulation :

Type A PVC Compound capable of withstanding conductor temperature up to 70 degrees C for general purpose insulation & 85 degrees C for Heat Resistant insulation conforming to IS:5831:1984 or XLPE insulation for conductor temperature up to 90 degrees C.

The color of Cores :

Cores are identified with a color scheme as per IS:1554(Pt-I):1988 as under :
Cores – Red, Black, Yellow, Blue or Natural (non-pigmented).
Cores – Red & Black
Cores – Red, Yellow & Blue.
Core – Red, Yellow, Blue & Black.(Reduced Neutral Core in case of 3 ½ Core)
Cores – Red, Yellow, Blue, Black & Grey

In case of cable exceeding five cores, two adjacent (counting and direction cores) in each layer shall be colored Blue, Yellow and remaining cores grey or cores can be identified by numbers by numbers printed on that of the same color.

Laying Of Cores :

Cores are laid up as per the above color scheme. The final lay direction shall be kept the right hand.

Inner Sheath :

The Inner Sheath is applied overlaid up of cores by extrusion/wrapping of thermoplastic material.

Armoring  :

It is applied to inner Sheath. It may consist of galvanized Round Steel wires or galvanized Flat Steel Strips conforming to IS 3975. Round Wire armoring is provided, where the calculated diameter under armor is 13.0 mm. Above this, armoring is either round wire/steel strip. In single core cables used in AC systems, armoring I done by non-magnetic hard drawn aluminum wires/strips.

Outer Sheath :

A final covering of PVC Compound, conforming to IS:5831:1984, is applied over Armouring in case of Armoured Cable or over Inner Sheath in case of Unarmoured Cable, called as “Outer Sheath”.
